We are delighted to be joined for the summer by our two Conservation Interns. They will be helping us with every aspect of running a small preservation organization. They will also help with our preservation projects; learning and contributing to the process from beginning to end. Welcome, Jennifer and Emily!
Emily Brault recently graduated from Villanova University where she majored in biology with a concentration in environmental studies. Serving as president of the Ecological Society of Villanova, participating in on campus fair trade market, and volunteering for Hunger and Homelessness Awareness were a few of Emily’s campus activities.
Jennifer Hine graduated from Kutztown University with a B.S in Environmental Science and Biology, with a dual minor in Geography and Land Use Planning. She also took classes at the Marine Science Consortium in Wallops Island, Va. where she studied geological and environmental aspects of the Chesapeake Bay, and studied the flora and fauna of Assateague Island and the surrounding area.
And there is much, much more. Download the entire newsletter now!
