We welcome sponsorships from individuals, businesses and foundations. Here are some sponsorship options; all help us to fulfill our mission of land preservation and environmental education:
The basic maintenance of our web site, www.manada.org, is $500/year. Your sponsorship would be recognized by a box on our home page, linking to your web site, and continued recognition in our quarterly newsletter.
Full sponsorship for one issue of our quarterly newsletter: $400. Your graphic or logo and a grateful acknowledgement is displayed on the newsletter as its sponsor. $100 and $200 partial sponsorships are also available. Your graphic and a grateful acknowledgement is displayed with those of other newsletter sponsors.
We budget $1000 per year for our education programming, which includes 2 Spring and 2 Fall programs. These programs are free and open to the public. You may choose to sponsor 1, 2 or our full year of programming. All posters, press releases and articles relating to the programs you sponsor will acknowledge your sponsorship.
Does your business provide a service or sell a product which we need? Our wish list is always long. We have gratefully accepted a wide variety of in-kind donations: Graphic Design, Port-A-Johns, editing, technical expertise, office-cleaning and many more. We need everything from paper clips to computers. We always have printing costs. Please contact us to discuss this donation option.
The Manada Conservancy attends Garden Expo each March to promote our Native Plant Sale and to provide information about land preservation. Sponsoring our presence at Garden Expo helps us to cover the costs of being there and to provide the educational material that we distribute. Any amount is helpful. Sponsors are recognized prominently on a sponsorship display.
This provides an invaluable experience to a college student, and provides much needed help to our small staff for preservation projects and our every-day operations. Interns often provide expertise which we do not have (such as computer mapping skills) and which we could otherwise not afford. A sponsored internship will be named by the sponsor, for example, “The ABC Summer Preservation Internship”. Press releases are published when the intern is chosen and all references to the internship in our newsletter and publicity use this name.
If you simply wish to become a business member of The Manada Conservancy, and support our ongoing work throughout the year, our basic business membership is $100. We gratefully accept Business Memberships at all membership levels, and they are acknowledged in our newsletter and on our web site.
