Volunteering at The Manada Conservancy

Volunteers are the life-blood of our organization. We run our land preservation operations, maintain our office, engage in our fund-raising, such as the annual Native Plant Sale, attend events and provide our educational programming all with two part-time staff members and a flotilla of dedicated volunteers. Our hard-working Board of Directors is all volunteer. We are fortunate to have so many in our community who believe in our mission and support our efforts through their volunteer participation. We always need help! Anyone can volunteer, of any age. No training is needed. Some areas of need are:

• Spring and Fall plant sale volunteers at Meadowood Nursery (potting, arranging orders, set-up, customer service, etc.)
• Office volunteers (various office tasks)
• Mainenance volunteers (managing invasives, planting, mowing, restoration, etc)
• Land Preservation volunteers (everything from outreach to field inventories to legal work)
• Fund-raising volunteers
